Cell Phone Resource Site
Free Cell Phone Wallpaper by Tim Johns There is no need to pay for cell phone wallpaper with the resources available on the internet. There are free applications for editing photos and most phones can receive your photos using email or bluetooth. The first thing you will need to do is find a photo or image. You can take a picture yourself using a digital camera and exporting the image to your computer. If you are looking for a wallpaper which is a little more intense, you can find an image on the internet, right click on it, and save it to your hard drive. There are plenty of free desktop wallpaper sites on the web. The easiest way is probably to just search Google Images. There is a search box at the bottom of the page in case you need it.
Now you need an application to resize the image to the parameters of your phone screen. You can find these parameters by looking at the owner's manual or searching for the specs on your phone on the internet (just type specs then the model of your phone into Google or another search engine. A free application which works very well is Picasso, or Google's photo organizer. This is a great application for image viewing, importing, editing, and much more than just creating cell phone wallpaper... and its free. There is a button for downloading Google's Photo Organizer at the bottom of this article. Click, download, and install it if you don't have it already. After you have the image on Picaso look at it and decide it it looks like the same height and width proportions of your cell phone (you may need to double-click the image to make it larger). If it does not look like the correct proportions click 'crop' in the options on the left side. Using your mouse, drag on the image to highlight a section which would look correct on your screen and click 'apply' on the left side panel. Now click 'export' on the bottom right of the application. A dialogue box should have popped up. Click browse and pick a location where you would like the folder containing your new cell phone wallpaper stored on your computer and change the new folder name if you want. Under image size options, make sure the circle is checked that says 'resize to' and highlight the number in the box. The bar to the right of the box will not decrease this number below 320 which is why you need to highlight the number itself. Change this to the width of your phone's screen and click 'ok' at the bottom of the dialogue.

Now all you have to do is email this picture to your phone or use bluetooth. The second option, bluetooth, is probably the simplest and fastest, but you do need to have a bluetooth adapter for you computer and a cell phone that has bluetooth capabilities. Most phones today have built in email options which come with the phone. If yours doesn't, I would consider getting a newer phone or a different carrier.
